This article explains how image sharing works, why you may see different confirmation messages, and when images are updated on the frame.<\/p>\n

How Image Delivery Works<\/h2>\n

SMARTWIZ+ art uses two image delivery methods<\/strong>, depending on the network connection of your phone and the power state of the frame.<\/p>\n

1. Local (Direct) Image Delivery<\/h3>\n

Images are delivered instantly<\/strong> when all of the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n

    Your smartphone is connected to the same local Wi-Fi network (LAN)<\/strong> as the frame<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The frame is powered by AC<\/strong> and is fully online<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In this case, images are sent directly from the phone to the frame without using the cloud.<\/p>\n

    App confirmation message:<\/strong>
    \u201cSuccessfully sent\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The image should appear on the frame almost immediately.<\/p>\n

    2. Cloud-Based Image Delivery<\/h3>\n

    Images are delivered via the cloud<\/strong> when:<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Your smartphone is not connected to the same local network<\/strong> as the frame, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      The frame is running on battery power<\/strong> and is currently in sleep mode<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In this case, the image is first uploaded to the cloud and then delivered to the frame the next time it connects to Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n

      Battery Operation and Update Timing<\/h2>\n

      To maximize battery life, SMARTWIZ+ art uses a smart power-saving design when running on battery:<\/p>\n

        The frame wakes up once per hour<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        It stays connected to Wi-Fi for approximately 1 minute and 40 seconds<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        During this time, it checks the cloud for new images or messages and updates the display if needed<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Outside of this window, the frame remains in sleep mode<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Because of this behavior, cloud-sent images may not appear immediately when the frame is on battery power. This is expected and helps ensure long battery life.<\/p>\n

        When Images Update Immediately (Exceptions)<\/h2>\n

        Even while running on battery power, images may update immediately if:<\/p>\n

          You press the physical button<\/strong> on the frame to force a temporary Wi-Fi connection, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          A local image transfer occurs during the scheduled hourly wake-up window<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          In these cases, the app may show \u201cSuccessfully sent\u201d<\/strong>, and the image will appear right away.<\/p>\n

          Do the Phone and Frame Need to Be on the Same Network?<\/h2>\n

          No.<\/strong>
          Images can always be sent through the cloud, even when your phone and the frame are on different networks.<\/p>\n

          However, being on the same local network<\/strong> allows for instant image delivery<\/strong>, while cloud delivery may involve a short delay depending on the frame\u2019s power state.<\/p>\n
